ROWE<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 Inman<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www2.deloitte.com\/us\/en\/pages\/technology-media-and-telecommunications\/articles\/fast500-winners.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Deloitte\u2019s Technology Fast 500<\/a>, a 26-year-old recognition of growth in the technology sector across all business categories, has named several real estate technology companies to its annual list.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The global financial consulting company states that its list \u201cwas created to recognize the passion and dedication it takes to be an industry disruptor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Companies have to submit themselves for consideration, and then Deloitte researches them and chooses winners according to the percentage of fiscal-year growth over a three-year period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inman\u2019s research found 10 companies on Deloitte\u2019s list common to most real estate agents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Homie<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.homie.com\/\">Homie<\/a>&nbsp;is a brokerage that lets buyers and sellers find a local agent on its website, and receive a number of technology-empowered discounted services as they go.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The South Jordan, Utah company has grown at an impressive rate of 8,646 percent, making it the highest real estate tech on the list at No. 25. Earlier in 2020,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inman.com\/2020\/02\/05\/brokerage-startup-homie-to-expand-with-23m-in-series-b-funding\/\">Homie closed on $23 million in Series B funding<\/a>. It currently does business in Utah, Nevada and Arizona.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Landing at the second-highest rank among them was&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inman.com\/2020\/03\/04\/ojo-labs-launches-ai-powered-photo-scanning-tool-for-kitchens\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">OJO Labs<\/a>&nbsp;at No. 29. The \u201cartificial intelligence\u201d and personal assistant startup has several products to automate real estate consumer search practices. In October of 2020,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inman.com\/2020\/10\/15\/ojo-labs-acquires-fintech-startup-digs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">OJO Labs acquired fintech startup, Digs<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Groundfloor<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Atlanta-based&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inman.com\/2019\/07\/31\/groundfloor-gets-3m-more-from-individual-real-estate-investors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Groundfloor<\/a>, a platform for group and fractional investing in real estate financing, grew 1,142 percent to land at No. 102 on the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HomeLight<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inman.com\/2020\/01\/30\/introducing-cash-close-by-homelight-the-product-every-home-seller-needs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HomeLight<\/a>&nbsp;offers consumers a solution for researching and ranking real estate agents. The San Francisco company found itself ranked No. 148 out of 500 on three-year growth of 808 percent, according to Deloitte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Homesnap<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At No. 11 5 is the mobile home-search app and lead generation tool Homesnap, which was&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inman.com\/2020\/11\/23\/costar-group-acquires-homesnap-for-250m\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">acquired by commercial real estate data company CoStar Group<\/a>. Announced Monday, this move puts it in direct competition with Zillow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Search Realty Corp.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/searchrealty.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Search Realty Corp.<\/a>&nbsp;has been growing consistently for many years. Billing itself as a \u201ccommunity-focused, future-facing real estate brokerage,\u201d the independent brokerage has eight offices and stresses the use of technology and community involvement throughout its operation. It\u2019s No. 345 on the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Zillow<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ever-evolving Zillow, which as of now remains the largest name in home search, came in at No. 418. It has benefited from millions of Americans taking to the popular portal as a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inman.com\/2020\/11\/20\/in-chaotic-times-zillow-becomes-the-solution-to-doomscrolling\/\">coagulant for \u201cdoomscrolling<\/a>,\u201d a term that describes our obsession with wading through the gloomy morass of online news and social media.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With no shortage of doom-inducing stories to thumb through and a searing national real estate market, it\u2019s no wonder Zillow has grown 224 percent in three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Redfin Corporation<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not far off from Zillow at No. 469 is\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.inman.com\/2020\/11\/20\/big-win-for-discount-brokers-how-low-fee-firms-benefit-from-doj-suit\/\" target=\"_blank\">low-fee brokerage Redfin<\/a>, which Deloitte reports grew by 192 percent. With popular online search tools and respected industry data analysis services, Redfin has become a player for more than its 1 percent fees.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Redfin was accused of having price policies that favor white neighborhoods in a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inman.com\/2020\/10\/29\/redfin-accused-of-price-policies-that-favor-white-neighborhoods-lawsuit\/\">lawsuit<\/a>&nbsp;earlier this month.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EOriginal<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inman.com\/2020\/11\/23\/eoriginal-updates-again-with-hub-for-remote-online-notarizations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EOriginal<\/a>&nbsp;continues to make waves as one of the most established software platforms for digitized home lending. Bolstered by the need for arm\u2019s-length closings in light of the pandemic, the Baltimore company landed on Deloitte\u2019s list at No. 473.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DocuSign, Inc.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although not specific to only real estate, popular document automation tool DocuSign landed at No. 489 on the 2020 Fast 500 list. The San Francisco company continues to be the top&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inman.com\/2019\/07\/16\/exclusive-kw-partners-with-docusign-to-improve-transaction-management\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">electronic transaction software for real estate<\/a>&nbsp;agents and consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Craig C.
